The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens, and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord
by: Scott Carter
Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens, and Count Leo Tolstoy all walk into a room. The last thing they remember was the moment they died, and now they’re all stuck in a room together. With limited information about each other, the three famed GOSPELISTS argue who was right about their theories about Jesus of Nazareth, the New Testament, and more, all the while hurling insults and quips at each other. Scott Carter’s dry-comedy depicts Jefferson, Dickens, and Tolstoy not as philosophers–but merely as men needing to be heard.

The Importance of Being Earnest
The play finds two bachelors, John ‘Jack’ Worthing and Algernon ‘Algy’ Moncrieff, who create alter egos named Ernest to escape their tiresome lives. They attempt to win the hearts of two women who, conveniently, claim to only love men called Ernest. The pair struggle to keep up with their own stories and become tangled in a tale of deception, disguise and misadventure.
